Librarian Management System Specialist
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 Benefits
About the role:
Excellent opportunity to work within the Library sector for a leading Library Management Systems Provider offering interesting, challenging yet a rewarding career! You will be responsible for eliciting customer requirements, resulting in scoping exercises and priority setting for product change. You will represent the knowledge of the Library user and have in-depth knowledge of library solutions. As such, you will represent the user with internal design processes, and have direct customer contact to deliver knowledge about the company’s solutions. You will also deliver end user training for the suite of products to end users and staff.
Knowledge and experience of Libraries software products
Relevant experience working in the libraries and education sector, ideally with a librarianship qualification
Proven ability to map the customer’s business requirements to ensure product value.
Strong interpersonal skills that establish Trusted Advisor relationships with clients
Extremely pro-active, strong organisational/time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Able to identify and articulate customer requirements, including use case expression and feature justification from the end user position
Creative problem solver and team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills
